California State Route CA-44 Rest Areas

California State Route 44 (CA-44), is an East to West directional Californian highway that begins from State Routes 273 and 299 in Redding traveling through the Lassen Volcanic National Park before ending at State Route 36 West of Susanville.

California rest areas are maintained and funded by Caltrans. Just keep in mind that some may be closed due to the winter season or for maintenance needs, it is best to have an alternate rest stop just in case.
